PD Dr. Dr. med. Christian Schmidt is a distinguished expert in the field of vein diagnostics and therapy, specializing as a surgeon, vascular surgeon, and phlebologist. He was one of the first in Zurich to perform modern endoluminal laser therapy for varicose veins at the University Hospital Zurich in 2006. Most recently, he served as a senior vascular surgeon at the Vascular Clinic Bellevue in Kreuzlingen until 2015, was co-director of the Venous Center at the University Hospital Zurich until 2017, and worked at the Venous Center am See in Feldmeilen until 2020. Since January 2018, he has been practicing in the group practice MEDIS Zurich, where he performs all minimally invasive therapies.
